We focus on people to eliminate possible unsafe behaviors or conditions during the life of mine and the company and prevent any lost time accidents.

To foster our zero-harm culture, we are committed to integrating our safety leadership values into our processes, systems and initiatives. Our global Health & Safety Policy applies to all employees and contractors. The commitments made within this policy extend throughout the entire project lifecycle, from exploration to construction and from operations to closure.

We aim to create a sense of safety “ownership” for all our employees and for that purpose we are applying the “Visible Felt Leadership” program, which focuses on safety-related field interactions between senior and line management personnel and employees.

All Health and Safety measures, processes and systems are designed to ensure that we meet or exceed local, regional, and national health and safety legislation and the international best practices. We make every effort to reduce and eliminate risks through regular risk assessments during our operational activities.
