Our IDEA Committe

We are aware of the importance of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) for our long-term achievements and therefore launched our global and regional committees to continue our IDEA efforts strategically. Our regional committees are responsible adapting and implementing the global strategies into regional dynamics.

Respectful Workplace

With our strategy of inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility, which is rooted in the concept of "Respect", we adopt an approach based on respect for our colleagues, local people and stakeholders. We are building a culture that recognizes and appreciates diversity of each individual, regardless of their language, race, religion, ideology, gender, disability and age, and promotes equal opportunity under any circumstances. We respect and value each one of our employees with different perspectives, and we develop business processes that provide added value for our employees.
In order to keep our values sustainable, we continue all our "inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility" projects under the roof of our IDEA Committee. We meet at regular intervals with IDEA committee members and brand ambassador selected from different departments to support diversity in line with the principles of "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility".

We are a proud member and a Silver Partner sponsor of International Women in Mining (IWiM), a leading global women’s organization pursuing gender equality and promoting women’s voices, access to opportunities and leadership in mining. Every year, we are participating with mentors and mentees in the International Women in Resources Mentoring Program (IWRMP).

We are committed to pursuing greater representation of women throughout our organization at all levels. And we support women’s talents and their participation in workforce in all our processes with our efforts of promoting cohesion, collaboration and a global united voice for women in the mining industry.

As Öksüt Madencilik, our women representation is 15%, above the average both in our country and worldwide. At the senior management level, this rate is 33%.
